OBJECTIVE: To understand how bacteria or viruses live, their pathology, and modes of transmission.

GOAL: Research one baceria or viral pathogen and produce a "Most Wanted" poster.

BACKGROUND: Each student is required to select one of the following pathogens and make a "Most Wanted" Poster using the established guidelines below. No partners. No one is allowed to do the same pathogen.

Make a "Wanted Poster" for one of the bacteria or viruses listed below. In your poster, please include the following:

  8. Number of victims (deaths per year or cases of this illness per year) (2 marks)
  9. Is there any immunity or vaccine against the disease? (3 marks)
  10. Include a bibliography. You must use at least 1 print resource for your research. (1 mark)

You must include colour and creativity in your poster. You can create your own cartoon characters to illustrate the disease and its effects. (4 marks)
